Chinoiserie (Les zèbres à la pagode) est une peinture réalisée sur la planche déformée par l’humidité d’une table Ikéa. Le placage est soulevé par le bois aggloméré et ses angles ressemblent aux « cornes » d’une pagode. La chinoiserie provient également du contexte zoologique de l’image reproduite, initialement prise au zoo de Tiergarten à Berlin. Une dimension import-export apparaît dans les transformations inattendues et les usures des produits de consommation courante (ici la planche Ikea).
Chinoiserie (Les zèbres à la pagode) [Zebras at the pagoda] is a painting made on the misshapen by damp‐ ness Ikéa board. The plating is lifted by the chipboard wood and its angles are like a pagoda’s « horns ». The Chinoiserie also comes from the reproduced picture’s zoological context, initially captured at the Berlin’s Tiergar‐ ten zoo. An import-export dimension appears in the unexpected transformations and the consumer products wears (here the Ikea board).

Chinoiserie (Poissons) est la reproduction sur une planche Ikea et dans un style « international » de poissons photographiés dans un bassin du Jardin exotique de Madère. Les sources des images peuvent avoir un caractère anecdotique car elles témoignent d’une forme mondialisée du voyage des images. Finalement elles pourraient venir de n’importe où.
Chinoiserie (Poissons) [Fishes] is the reproduction on an Ikéa board and in an « international » style of photographed fishes from the Exotic garden of Madera. The picture’s sources can have an anedoctal character because they testify of a globalized form of the pictures travel. At the end, they could come from anywhere.
